Head, Internal Audit
Chris Ogala is a renowned expert clearly distinguished in diverse oil and gas projects and
operations with over 18 years of uninterrupted experience in Internal Control, Audit and
Finance Management. He also has remarkable skills in Risk/compliance and management of
profitability, Budget, Contracts, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain/Procurement, as well as
Market Intelligence Gathering.
Chris has a strong root in Accounting. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
of Nigeria (ICAN) with university degree in Accounting. He has attended several management,
role-specific trainings and workshops in oil & gas operations, including “Cost Management
Training for Senior Managers” by Lagos Business School (LBS). He has worked with
professionals from diverse disciplines, which he utilized as opportunities to learn something
new about other disciplines.
Chris joined Tulcan Group in 2024 from Swift-Oil Group, where he served for 7 years as the
Group Head of Internal Control/Audit with oversight of Audit/Control functions in all group
members, including Chorus Energy Ltd (upstream), Swift-Oil Ltd (Downstream) and others.
Prior to joining Swift-Oil Group, he had put in over 10-years of selfless service with the
Obijackson Group, where he mastered the different operations of the following group’s
members: Nestoil ltd (a pipelines and EPC), Neconde Energy Ltd (Operator of OML42 asset),
Energy Works Technology Ltd (Fabrication of pressure vessels and others), B&Q Dredging Ltd
(Dredging services), Hammakopp Consortium Ltd (Civil Engineering Construction) Impac
Engineering Ltd (engineering designs, operation/Maintenance) and others. Before his sojourn in
oil and gas, Chris had years of Audit/Consultancy practice with OR&C Consulting, where he
anchored the firm’s Control Process Implementation for Obijackson Group. He was thereafter
requested by the Board to join the group.
He is a value-focused professional who initiated and implemented value-adding changes leading
to over N12billion of verifiable cost-savings in CAPEX and OPEX. He has also championed
strategic fact-finding committees and led crucial investigations, some leading to major
improvements and enriched control for sustainable efficiency.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Temisa Presline is a highly competent and seasoned Geoscientist and Asset Development Manager, with more than 40 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry cutting across Exploration, Concession acquisition, Field development, Drilling and Production on land, swamp and offshore concessions across Shell International, Shell Nigeria, ENI, Seplat etc of the Exploration and Production Geology fundamentals and practice. He graduated with a BSc. (Hons.) from the University of Ife (now OAU), an MSc in Economics from the University of Benin, an MBA and PhD in Finance and Banking from the University of Port Harcourt.
HSE/CR Manager
Engr. Christopher Esin is a seasoned QHSSE and Community Relations professional with over 15 years of progressive experience in Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Community Administration across diverse oil and gas operations, both onshore and offshore. He currently serves as the QHSSE & Community Relations Manager at Tulcan Energy Exploration and Production Company Ltd., where he provides strategic oversight for regulatory compliance, operational safety, environmental stewardship, and stakeholder engagement across Tulcan’s asset base, including the Tom-Shot Bank Field Development in PPL-244.
Engr. Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and has built an extensive career spanning several high-impact projects and operational environments. His professional journey includes key HSE roles in major field development projects such as the OML-42 Jones Creek, Odidi and Batan operations Project, the OML-14 Stubb-Creek Marginal Field Construction Project, and the Camac Energy OYO-121 FPSO Operations.
Before joining Tulcan EPCL, Chris served as HSE Superintendent on the AMNI’s Princess Aweni FPSO operations supporting the Okoro-Setu Field Development, where he spent 7 years providing critical safety leadership and driving a culture of operational discipline and risk-based HSE management.
He brings a forward-thinking approach to QHSSE management, with in-depth knowledge in the application of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards. He has led the design and implementation of robust HSE-management systems in alignment with evolving regulatory requirements and international best practices.
Known for his ability to align safety performance with business goals, Chris is also a trusted liaison with host communities and government regulators, fostering mutual trust and social license to operate. His leadership continues to shape a resilient, safe, and sustainable operating environment for Tulcan EPCL’s growth and long-term value creation
GM, Drilling
Engr Samuel Orimoloye has over 22 years of diverse experience in the Oil & Gas industry, spanning
HSE, contracting, well design, drilling, workover, and completions.
He graduated from the University of Ibadan in Oyo State with a BSc Honours degree in Petroleum
Engineering. Afterwards, he attended Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, UK, where he was awarded
a Postgraduate Diploma in Petroleum Engineering. He is a certified Project Management Professional
recognised by the Project Management Institute in Pennsylvania, USA. He began his oil and gas career
with Addax Petroleum Development Nigeria Limited in 2002, after which he was recruited into the
Deepwater team to support the JDZ project aboard the Deepwater Pathfinder Drillship. He joined Seplat
in 2011 as a Senior Drilling Engineer, where he delivered the company’s first well. Subsequently, he
advanced to become an Asset Drilling Manager and led the execution of a Mega well project, resulting
in the delivery of 23 wells in 2014. Due to his integrity and exemplary HSE performance, he was
promoted to the position of Corporate Wells Manager. Engr Samuel Orimoloye joined Uniterm Nigeria
Limited as GM of Operations in July 2022. He managed the Shell land rig and supported the Total
deepwater rig during this period up to 2023.
Engr. Abiodun Oladiipo
General Manager Asset
Engr. Abiodun Oladiipo is a strategic leader and seasoned expert in energy, oil and gas, operations, and technology management. He brings over 23 years of experience spanning academia, engineering, and business development—20 of which have been dedicated to the oil and gas industry. His career includes impactful roles in multinational oilfield service companies, as well as international and national oil and gas firms. He has successfully led and delivered high-value projects across Africa, the Middle East, and North America. Dr. Oladiipo holds a PhD in Technology Management, a postdoctoral certificate in Mineral and Energy Economics, and an MBA in Marketing. He previously served as Manager, Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering at CONOIL Producing, and currently serves as General Manager, Asset Development. A COREN-registered engineer, PMP-certified professional, and Chartered Director, Engr. Oladiipo offers deep insight into asset development, reservoir optimization, and strategic business transformation in upstream oil and gas.
General Manager Supply Chain
Olasoji Folaseyi Aro, a seasoned supply chain management expert with over 20 years of extensive experience across diverse industrial sectors. His expertise spans across Marine, Manufacturing, Information Technology (IT), and Energies; providing him with a comprehensive understanding of various operational landscapes.
He has held key roles at prominent organizations such as Almarine Nigeria, Michelin Nigeria, and Total Energies, where he significantly contributed to their supply chain efficiencies. He is a COREN-registered engineer and an accomplished alumnus of the University of Lagos, holding a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Mechanical Engineering. Beyond his academic achievements, He has further enhanced his professional capabilities with several certifications in Project Management, ERP SAP Materials Management, and Procurement solution consulting, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and professional development in his field.
Currently, Olasoji serves as the Inbound and Outbound Supply Chain General Manager at Tulcan Energy, a role where he oversees and optimizes critical aspects of their supply chain operations.

Ebiere Agoro is a Supply Chain Analyst responsible for vendor onboarding, material inventory management, and purchase requisitions. She ensures accuracy and efficiency in procurement processes by coordinating supplier documentation, maintaining reliable inventory records, and supporting timely purchasing activities. With a strong focus on process improvement and compliance, Ebiere contributes to the smooth operation of the supply chain and the development of effective vendor relationships.

Marine Coordinator
Gideon T. Ebute-Iwa is a Marine Coordinator with Tulcan EPC, bringing expertise in managing marine logistics and offshore operations in the oil and gas sector. With a background in law, he combines analytical and organisational skills with hands-on industry experience. He began his career in the downstream sector, where he spent three years in operations and business development before transitioning to the upstream sector, where he has been serving as a Marine Coordinator. Gideon is passionate about efficiency, safety, and delivering operational excellence in marine and energy operations.

Well Engineer
An early-career Well Engineer with knowledge in well initiation, planning, and execution, including drilling and completion operations for vertical and deviated wells, offshore drilling activities, re-entry operations including Well testing. His professional experience includes providing critical support to drilling engineers for offshore exploration and appraisal drilling programs, managing accurate drilling and completions data, preparing detailed end-of-well reports, and tracking waste management processes. Additionally, he works under the supervison of Drilling Supervisors(DSV) on wellsite and provides support to the drilling superintendent in the office.
He significantly contributes by analyzing offset well data, extracting cogent information from EOWR of offset wells, Taoheed closely collaborates with wellsite geologists, directional drilling engineers, MWD/LWD engineers, mud engineers, and mud loggers to maintain operational adherence and efficiency. His responsibilities encompass daily well data reporting, logistical planning for drilling operations, inspecting bottom hole assemblies (BHAs), managing mud and drilling material inventories, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs and non-productive time (NPT).

Engr. Afolabi Abiodun Folorunso (FNSE, MSPE D.SC) is a highly professional and competent Petroleum Engineer, with almost 30 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
He received a B.SC. Degree in Chemical Engineering (Shell, State and Federal Government Scholar) from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and a PGD in Petroleum Engineering, Herriot Watt University, A honorary Doctor of Science – from European American University
and Doctor of Business Management- from London School of Graduate.

Mr. Raheem is an experienced Project and Process Engineer with over a decade years experience as Project, FEED & Process Engineer involved in all phases of project from conceptualization to commissioning for various types of projects including, Gas Facilities, Oil Facilities, Pipeline Infrastructures.
These project covers both onshore, swamp and offshore. He holds a B. Tech Chemical Engineering from LAUTECH, Ogbomoso. He was responsible for maturing from concept to award of all CAPEX delivery projects for Shell Nigeria Gas. He is a COREN member and holds corporate membership with NSE and NSCHE.

Dr. Hafeez Taiwo Ewedairo is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with over 18 years of experience across the oil and gas, construction, and manufacturing sectors. He holds an HND in Accounting from Federal Polytechnic, Ede (Osun State); a BSc in Finance and a PhD in Accounting from the University of Port Harcourt; and an MSc in Accounting from Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), a member of the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (USA), and holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting from ACCA-UK.
Dr. Ewedairo has raised over $40 million in oil and gas project funding and held leadership roles at Nestoil Ltd, Belemaoil Producing Ltd, and Intels Nigeria Ltd before joining Tulcan Energy Exploration and Production Company Limited. He has attended several international oil and gas trainings and has published five papers in local and international journals.

Dr. Adiatu is an astute businessman with over twenty years of wealth of experience. He holds a Bachelors degree in Pure and Applied Chemistry, an MBA degree and an honorary Doctorate degree in Business Administration from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Oyo State Nigeria. He is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and other professional bodies.
He bagged an Executive MBA degree from the Metropolitan School of Business Management (MSBM), London, UK. In 2019, he concluded the Owner/President Management (OPM) programme at the Havard Business School in Boston, USA. He is an expert in people management, conflict resolution, strategic negotiations and corporate administration.

Olufemi is a seasoned business development and commercial executive with extensive experience in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector. Currently the General Manager, Commercial and Planning at Tulcan Energy, he leads hydrocarbon monetization, crude oil evacuation, and strategic planning. Olufemi has secured over $300 million in funding and managed projects exceeding $200 million. He previously held leadership roles at Chorus Energy, Swift Oil, and FCMB, driving revenue growth, financial structuring, and contract negotiations worth over $130 million. A Chartered Manager and Certified International Commercial Contracts Manager, he holds degrees in Economics, International Business, and an Executive MBA. He is pursuing a DBA and remains a key player in energy finance and commercial strategy.
Mr. Akeem Adekunbi
Head, Legal and Company Secretary
Akeem Adekunbi leads the legal department and secretariat at Tulcan Energy, specializing in energy law with over 13 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. He earned his LLB (Hons) from the University of Ibadan in 2009 and completed his LL.M at the University of Lagos. Akeem’s career began at Layonu and Co, followed by roles at Conoil Producing Limited and BUA Group, where he managed oil and gas legal matters.
Notable achievements include serving as secretary to the joint NNPC – NAPIMS/Conoil-CONOG Committee that negotiated all contracts for OML 150 and OML 153. He led the legal team on the Project Star for the successful bid of Chevron’s 40% interest in OML 86 and OML 88. Akeem is also passionate about green energy and adept in corporate transactions and dispute resolution.

He has garnered over 17 years’ work experience, out of which more than eight (8) was with KPMG. He is a registered professional with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.
